On Friday the Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI had their schedules appointments very different.To the Queen of Spain this October 30th has been synonymous hearings at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid.

Princess Leonor of Spain, daughter of King Philip VI and his wife Queen Letizia, turned 10 last Saturday, October 31. the Crown Princess called simply Leonor, of Spain also known in Spain as Doña Leonor de Todos los Santos de Borbón y Ortiz, Princess of Asturias, is the eldest of two with her younger sister Infanta Sofia. Baptised on January 7, 2006, The Crown Princess' godparents were her paternal grandparents, former King Juan Carlos and his wife Sofia. After her father's coronation 19 June 2014 who was then the heir to the Spanish sovereign she at the age of 8 became the youngest heir to Europe. A privilege previously held by Crown Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands, Leonor bears the title Princess of Asturias, reserved for the heir to the Spanish throne. Of course, in 10 years, the small Leonor is still too young to ensure the responsibilities - as the price of Prince of Asturias, Felipe created when he was 12 years old. On the occasion of her tenth anniversary, Princess Leonor received was awarded the Golden Fleece and her own arms. This is Spain's highest distinction and one of the most prestigious in the world. She also holds the titles of Duchess of Montblanc, Countess of Cervera and Madam de Balaguer.
